Glow Ups at Hagemann

Sassy

Sassy when she first arrived at Hagemann Ranch in April 2023

Sassy was abandoned by her owners at the place where she was being boarded. The boarding owners took care of her for over a year but could no longer care for her. She was rescued by Hearts and Horses and brought to Hagemann Ranch in April of 2023.

Sassy today

Sassy is now thriving at Hagemann, she gets to work at the ranch as a lesson horse.

Buddy Bear

Buddy Bear when he first arrived at Hagemann Ranch in April 2024

Buddy Bear originally belonged to a rancher before being entrusted to Donna’s horse trainer, where he was used for children’s riding lessons. As lessons slowed down, he was retired to pasture and no longer actively ridden. By the time he arrived at Hearts and Horses in April 2024, he was underweight and in need of care.

Buddy Bear Today

With time, dedication, and plenty of nourishment, Buddy Bear has regained his strength and is thriving. He is now on his way to joining our lesson program, 4-H activities, and Special Needs program, where he can make a meaningful impact once again.
