Donna

Born and raised in Livermore, CA, Donna is a dedicated equestrian with an impressive 38-year involvement in 4-H. Her passion for horses extends to her experience in barrel racing and All-Around Show competitions. In 2014, Donna founded Double Hearts Riding and Rescue, initially at the Livermore Rodeo Grounds, later relocating to the historic Hagemann Ranch property in 2015. In 2023, she rebranded the organization to Hearts and Horses Riding and Rescue. Currently housing four rescue horses, Donna provides horsemanship and riding lessons. Beyond her ranch, Donna serves as a leader for the Equine Beginning Horse Program at the Del Arroyo 4-H Club in Livermore, showcasing her commitment to equine education. Her enduring leadership in 4-H speaks to her dedication to fostering a love for horses in the community.
